WHY THIS HIKE

Oasi Zegna between Valsessera and the Cervo valley

It was the 1930s when Ermenegildo Zegna recognised the value of nature between Valsessera and Valle Cervo. Today, together with the Guidders, we explore the trails of the Oasi Zegna: a trek that combines forests, history and surprising views between the Alps and the plains.

The experience

We start along a path immersed in the beech forests of the Oasi Zegna, on soft and well-marked trails that develop along the watershed between the Valsessera and the Valle Cervo. The trek alternates stretches in the woods with panoramic openings where the gaze sweeps from the Po Valley to the first Alpine peaks.

Walking, you perceive the link between man and nature desired by Ermenegildo Zegna: a well-kept but authentic mountain. The terrain also tells a very ancient geological history, made of volcanic calderas and rare rocks, an ideal habitat for species such as the Carabus.

It is an accessible but never trivial excursion: a quiet pace, panoramic stops and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and observe. Perfect for those who want to experience the mountains without haste, in good company.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Serena, an environmental hiking guide: lively and explosive, serene by name if not always by nature. The mountains have always been home. I grew up between the breathtaking views of the Valmalenco and the gentle embrace of Lake Como, and this is exactly where I take curious hikers to discover the beauty of the high country. As a guide I love telling the stories of these places: legends, traditions, curiosities. Because every trail has a soul, and with that a walk becomes a journey. If you're after nature, passion and a pinch of contagious enthusiasm, lace up your boots. ✨ See you in the mountains, Guidders!
