WHY THIS HIKE

Wild Caplone and Tombea, on Garda

Two peaks, one day, views you won't expect. If you're after a real trek, wild ridges and open space, you're in the right place. Get ready for a hike that stays with you.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We start from Cima Rest, an authentic village in Valvestino, province of Brescia. Together with the Guidders, we walk mountain trails, grassy tracks and ridge sections, through open, pastoral scenery. The view opens up to Lake Garda and Lake Idro: a spectacle that follows every step. Reaching Monte Caplone and Monte Tombea in the same day is the highlight that makes this trek special. It calls for good fitness and a steady step: the terrain is uneven and the climbs demanding, but the sense of freedom is worth every effort.

Why join us: - Two iconic peaks of the Prealpi Gardesane in a single day - Open views over two lakes - Wild, authentic setting, far from mass tourism - A wide, never predictable route, all ridge and silence

Join the Guidders: the Guiddy community is waiting to share this day of space and freedom.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Stefania, a Mountain Hiking Guide, born and raised in Limone sul Garda: a place where mountains and lake meet to create spectacular views. The mountains have always been part of my life, to the point of becoming my profession. My training with the Alpine Guides Association of the Lombardy Region allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the mountain environment: geology, botany, wildlife, meteorology. Every outing is a chance to keep learning and to let myself be amazed. My goal is to guide you on a journey to discover the mountains in a safe, relaxed and engaging way, whether this is your first hike or you're already an experienced trekker. Because the mountains aren't just a destination: they're a place to slow down, challenge yourself, build new friendships and head home with memories that last. ⛰ See you in the mountains!
