Mount Barro at Sunset: Hike to Remember.
Mount Barro at sunset
The first sentinel heading north, at sunset.
The experience
Monte Barro is the first hill you meet heading north: a silent sentinel above the plain and a natural gateway to the Lecco mountains. With the Guidders we walk a panoramic, accessible loop that explores every flank of the hill, with views over the Brianza lakes, Lago di Garlate, Lago di Annone and Lake Como, as well as the unmistakable profile of the Resegone. The return is by night, with head torches.
5 reasons to come - four lakes visible from the same hill - the profile of the Resegone, always recognisable - a loop that takes in every flank - the Monte Barro regional park - the return by night, head torches lit
Who it suits A panoramic, accessible loop: fine even if you do not walk much.
A sentinel with a view: come and reach it with the Guidders.
