The experience

We set off with the Guidders from the Alpe Paglio and take the path climbing between bilberry bushes and larch and birch woods. After a steady climb we reach the area of Cima del Laghetto and from there the final pull to the summit of the Cimone di Margno, where there is a cross and a map naming the surrounding peaks. The view is priceless: the Valsassina, the Grigna, Pizzo dei Tre Signori and Monte Legnone. We carry on to Cima di Olino and the Pian delle Betulle.

11:00VIEWPOINT
Cimone di Margno
The highest point of the trail, it offers a 360° view of Grigna, Pizzo dei Tre Signori, Valvarrone, and Valsassina. At the summit, there is a large cross and an iron panoramic disc indicating the surrounding peaks.
12:30SUMMIT
Cima di Olino and Pian delle Betulle
Cima di Olino (1,750 m) offers another splendid view before the descent. From here, you reach Pian delle Betulle, known for its pastures and the small Alpine chapel dedicated to the fallen. A stage rich in charm and memory.

Back to the cars
We close the loop and return to the parking lot
