WHY THIS HIKE

E-bike Adventure in Valsesia

Let’s ride with the Guidders along the Valsesia cycle route, in the heart of the province of Vercelli, at the foot of Monte Rosa. This e-bike excursion follows secondary roads, forest tracks, and stretches of valley trail, through woods, alpine pastures, and views over Valsesia. The route requires good bike control, battery management, and attention on dirt surfaces, bends, ramps, and possible rough sections: indicative data. Why choose it - views of Monte Rosa - a true valley experience - varied trails and dirt tracks - perfect for sporty Guidders - the authentic atmosphere of Alagna What makes it unique is the way it combines the fun pace of e-biking with the Walser charm of Alagna, on a real, ride-focused, shared route that feels closer to the true mountains than to a simple outing.

HOW TO GET THERE
09:30PARKING
Departure from Scopa (VC)
We set off from the car park opposite the rental shop, making it easy for anyone without an e-bike to hire one for the day. The ride begins on a paved road leading to the cycle path. The route is immediately easy to ride, crossing the valley floor through mixed woodland and a few scattered houses. Once we reach the centre of Scopa, we head towards the Sesia stream, which we cross before following it all the way to Alagna.
10:30VIEWPOINT
Along the Sesia
We gain elevation and the views gradually open up. The trail remains rideable, though narrower, winding through unspoilt nature. Here you truly feel the alpine atmosphere: silence, fresh mountain air, and ever-wider views over the valley below. We reach Scopello, then continue through Piode, Campertogno and Mollia, crossing the Sesia River once again before a final climb takes us to Alagna Valsesia.
15:30RETURN
Alagna Valsesia
We stop for a bite to eat and visit the village, then in the early afternoon we begin our descent, following the same route back down to the car park.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Gilberto, an environmental hiking guide. They say happiness is only real when shared, and for me there's no greater joy than a view earned together. I take people to find the most genuine side of our trails, away from the rush and at footprint pace. I can't wait to share with you not only the walking, but the stories, the silences and — why not — a good piece of cheese at the top. Backpack on, we'll work out the rest as we go. Experience, care for safety and that pinch of adventure it takes to make an outing unforgettable: joining the next walk? 🧀 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
