Snowshoeing in the Enchanting Alpe Devero
Snowshoeing in Alpe Devero
Walser villages that turn into mountain nativity scenes.
The experience
The Devero in its winter version is a sight. With the Guidders, snowshoes on, we cross wide snowy basins, silent woods and small Walser villages that in this season turn into genuine mountain nativity scenes. The objective is Crampiolo, its wooden houses buried in snow. Among untouched white expanses, majestic peaks and welcoming huts, it is a route that joins silence with feeling.
5 reasons to come - the Walser village of Crampiolo under snow - the snowy basins of the Alpe Devero - the silent woods of upper Piedmont - expanses of untouched snow - welcoming huts along the way
