Snowshoeing in the Upper Bognanco Valley: Experience the pristine beauty of the alpine winter.
Snowshoeing in the Bognanco valley
The winter sun shines over a white and silent world. Our hike is a total immersion in the purity of the alpine winter, an experience that fills the eyes with beauty and the lungs with crystal-clear air.
The experience
We will venture into an immaculate landscape, crossing larch woods where the sun's rays create magical plays of light on the snow. Our path will lead us to the wide open spaces of the alpine pastures, where ancient mountain huts stand out against the blinding white, silent witnesses to an authentic mountain life.
Our destination is the Monscera Pass, an exceptional panoramic balcony overlooking the most impressive peaks. A reward that repays every step. After a well-deserved break to enjoy the view and the warmth of the mountain hut, we will set off on our way back.
You will discover the most charming corners of the valley and experience a rejuvenating adventure. It's the perfect opportunity to savor the peace of the mountains, far from everything, surrounded only by the splendor of winter nature.
EQUIPMENT: snowshoes and/or crampons may be necessary depending on snow conditions. Also an ARTVA kit, shovel, and probe. Rental can be arranged upon request for those who do not have their own. Trekking poles are also available upon request.
