The experience
We set off in the morning, snowshoes on, along an easy trail, suitable for everyone, through snow-covered woods where the light shifts with every step. First stop: the Gattascosa Refuge, then up to Cima Mattaroni and Tirone, 2200 metres, where the Sempione trio awaits: Weissmiess, Lagginhorn and Fletschhorn, all lined up in front of you. At the top, a hot tea to warm up and toast to the day.
