The Sentiero di Frà Dolcino
We will meet here at the Bocchetta di Stavello for a short briefing to get to know each other, then set off from the stone labyrinth for this beautiful hike, where we will discover the beauty of the Oasi Zegna and the story of the most famous heretic of all time, who spent the last years of his life in these places. We will then climb to the Chiesetta di San Bernardo, a great viewpoint, where we can see all the peaks of the Pennine Alps and, opposite, the Pianura Padana. Walking along the ridge of Monte Massaro, we will reach the Cippo di Fra Dolcino, erected in memory of the heretic. We will then continue to the Bocchetta di Luvera, where we can stop for lunch. Lunch at the Locanda Argimonia is available on request. We will return to the Bocchetta di Stavello along an easy path, where we will meet some fun characters. All in all, a hike full of interest suitable for everyone. See you in the Biellese.
