WHY THIS HIKE

Snowshoeing in the Pale di San Martino

The Pale di San Martino, seen from the snow.

Group chat a couple of days before

The experience

The Val Venegia in winter is an enchanted place: with the Guidders we walk it on snowshoes, in a pure white setting, as far as the Baita Segantini, from where the Pale di San Martino reveal themselves in full. It is an easy, moving snowshoe outing, ideal even if it is your first time on snowshoes. Lunch is at the Capanna Cervino, in good company.

5 reasons to come - the Pale di San Martino seen from the Baita Segantini - the Val Venegia under snow - lunch at the Capanna Cervino - an easy route, fine for a first time - a white setting that looks like a fairytale

Who it suits An easy snowshoe outing on wide ground: suitable for everyone, beginners included.

The Dolomites in their winter version: come and see them with the Guidders.
