Snowshoeing at Piani dell'Avaro: 360° Views in a Winter Wonderland!
Snowshoeing at Piani dell'Avaro
Snow, blue sky and the sound of your own steps.
The experience
Monte Avaro, with its wide, sunny summit, is the right place to experience winter in the upper Val Brembana. We set off with the Guidders from the Piani dell'Avaro and follow path CAI 109, a gentle, panoramic route through snowy woods and silent clearings. We climb to the Colletto del Monte Avaro and a second viewpoint, with a full-circle view, then drop to the hut for lunch.
5 reasons to come - the full-circle view from Monte Avaro - the Colletto, where the view opens all at once - lunch at the hut halfway through - snowy woods and silent clearings - a gentle route, fine for first snowshoe outings
Who it suits A gentle, panoramic route: fine even without winter experience.
The peace only snow can give: come with the Guidders.
