Sunrise on Monte San Primo: sweeping views over the Triangolo Lariano
Sunrise on Monte San Primo: sweeping views over the Triangolo Lariano
Sunrise from the highest summit of the Larian Triangle.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Pian Rancio while it is still dark and climb through woods and pastures to the Bocchetta di Terrabiotta, then along the panoramic ridge towards the summit of Monte San Primo, as the sun starts to lift above the horizon. From the top the eye takes in Lake Como, the Grigne, the Lombard pre-Alps and the plain. And up there a shared breakfast is waiting: hot tea, coffee and biscuits, sitting down to watch the light arrive.
5 reasons to come - sunrise from the highest summit of the Larian Triangle - the shared breakfast at the top, hot tea included - the panoramic ridge after the Bocchetta di Terrabiotta - Lake Como and the Grigne in first light - heading home with the whole day still ahead
