Become a Guiddy coordinator

Free trips.
And you get paid.

Elsewhere a coordinator travels for free and that's it. With Guiddy you keep the group together, in the mountains and on trips: we pay for the trip and you receive a real fee for every assignment.

What you do

The group in single file on a grassy ridge at sunset

In the mountains

You open the group chat, share the details, welcome everyone at the meeting point and make each person feel at home. Where a guide is needed, there is one: you keep the group together.

On trips

As Trip leader you take the group around Italy and abroad. We pay for the trip; you are the group's point of reference, from departure to return.

Your ideas

You propose community events, dinners, evenings, concerts, and over time your own trips and weekends as a Guiddy Travel Creator.

What you get

We show you the figures in the call, in black and white in the agreement you read before you start. No surprises later.

A fee for every assignment

Hikes, treks, trips: you know beforehand what you receive.

Your trip paid for

Transport, bed and the activities in the programme are on us.

Rewards for who you bring

Once the programme starts, a cash reward for every new friend you bring with your link.

A path that grows

Coordinator, then Trip leader, then Guiddy Travel Creator.

How selection works

Five steps, no bootcamp and no paid courses. We read every application ourselves, one by one.

  1. 1The applicationFrom your Guiddy account: who you are, the hikes you have done, when you are available.
  2. 2The callTwenty minutes on video. You pick the day and time from the calendar.
  3. 3The trial hikeYour first hike with us, discounted, next to a guide on a real outing. If you have already done three hikes with us or coordinated trips, you usually skip it.
  4. 4The agreementYou read it at your own pace and accept it online. You have seven days.
  5. 5Your first hikeAlongside an experienced coordinator, then you are on your own. With experience and good ratings come the trips.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a guide qualification?

No. A coordinator is not a guide: you keep the group together. You need mountain experience and to enjoy being with people.

How much can I earn?

It depends on the assignments you accept. We show you in the call, and everything is written in the agreement before you start.

Do I have to commit to a minimum number of hikes?

No. You give your availability when you can and choose what to accept: no minimums and no exclusivity.

What is the trial hike?

Your first hike with us: you sign up with a discount and act as the guide's second. It helps you see what coordinating a Guiddy group is like, and helps us get to know you in the field.

Who insures the participants?

We do: every participant is covered by the policy included in the booking, and so are you when you coordinate.

Apply. Do you already have a Guiddy account?
