Full Moon Snowshoeing Weekend on the Presolana: A snowshoe adventure to Rifugio Albani!
Full moon snowshoeing to Rifugio Albani
A full-moon weekend at the foot of the Presolana.
The experience
Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from the village of Colere and climb a panoramic route to Rifugio Albani, set at the foot of the queen of the Orobie: the Presolana. The warden welcomes us with his hospitality and a thousand mountain stories. Then comes the magic: with the light of the full moon guiding our steps, a night walk between imposing walls and silence.
Day 2. We wake with the Presolana in front of us, have breakfast and head back to Colere.
5 reasons to come - the night walk under a full moon - Rifugio Albani at the foot of the Presolana - the warden's mountain stories - the walls of the queen of the Orobie, in winter - a night up high instead of at home
