WHY THIS TREK

Sunset concert at Rifugio Albani

A concert at sunset, beneath the walls of the Presolana.

Group chat before departure

The experience

Day 1. We climb with the Guidders from Carbonera, above Colere, on paths through wild country, our eyes always drawn to her: the Presolana, queen of the Orobie. At Rifugio Albani the warden, Chicco, welcomes us, and then comes the part that makes the evening: a concert at sunset among the dolomite walls, as the sky catches fire. Then dinner and a night at the hut.

Day 2. From the hut we climb to the Passo del Ferrantino before heading down to the valley.

5 reasons to come - the sunset concert among the dolomite walls - the night at Rifugio Albani - the Passo del Ferrantino on day two - the Presolana overhead all weekend - the welcome of people who live the hut all year round

Who it suits A mountain climb with serious height gain: normal walking fitness and a sure step.

Music and mountains together: set off with the Guidders.
