WHY THIS TREK

Camping at the Fellaria Glacier

A night under canvas, facing the glacier.

Group chat before departure
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from Lanzada and climb through the Lago di Alpe Gera area to Rifugio Bignami, looking out over one of the finest views in the Rhaetian Alps, between high pastures and glacial valleys. We pitch the tents near the hut and enjoy the evening with the Bernina group in front of us.

Day 2. We climb towards the Fellaria glacier, one of the most spectacular in Lombardy: the turquoise water of Lago Fellaria and the immense ice walls of the Bernina right above it. Then back by way of the Bignami and the pastures.

5 reasons to come - sleeping in a tent facing the Bernina group - the Fellaria glacier and its turquoise lake - Rifugio Bignami and Lago di Alpe Gera - two days of real high-mountain country - the silence of the Valmalenco as evening falls

Who it suits Two demanding days with a tent in your pack: you need good fitness and a sure step on high mountain paths.

A glacier this close leaves you speechless: come and see it with the Guidders.
