Description
A crest of ups and downs, with the lake always below.
We set off with the Guidders from the picturesque hamlet of Lura, in the Blessagno area, and climb through untouched country until we gain the crest. From there the route is a continuous panoramic switchback taking in the summit of Monte Costone and carrying on to the Alpe di Colonno and Rifugio Venini, with Lake Como and the surrounding mountains as a backdrop to every step.
