WHY THIS HIKE

Mount Secco from Val Canale

Three panoramic summits in a single route.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Cerete and climb towards Monte Secco, then along the crest that links the tops, as far as Cima del Fop, with the descent to Valcanale closing the traverse. The crests stay open for most of the route, with a constant view over the Val Seriana and the Bergamo Orobie: wild country, but accessible, and it rewards anyone willing to put the height gain in.

5 reasons to come - three panoramic summits in the same route - the open crest between Monte Secco and Cima del Fop - the constant view over the Val Seriana - a proper traverse, from Cerete to Valcanale - summits that stay quiet even at weekends

Who it suits Serious height gain and crest sections: good fitness and a sure step are needed.

Ridges and views, with no crowds: come with the Guidders.
