A lake under snow, and the gift exchange at the hut.
We set off with the Guidders from Valcanale, above Ardesio, and climb gradually through snowy woods and silent clearings to Lago Branchino, one of the most striking corners of the Bergamo Orobie. From there we carry on to Rifugio Alpe Corte Bassa, where the best moment is waiting: the gift exchange, all together, in the warmth. A day of slow steps, white views and shared laughter.
