In the heart of the Lecco Orobie opens one of the finest valleys in the area: the Val Biandino. Here, on a high natural balcony, stands the striking Rifugio Santa Rita, the objective of this trek. We set off with the Guidders from the Alpe Paglio, one of the easiest ways into the valley, and the path drops straight into genuine alpine country, among pastures, woods and views that widen step by step.
