WHY THIS HIKE

Mount Grem from Zambla Alta

A clean, open summit above the pastures of the Val Serina.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Zambla Alta and climb gently through the pastures of Oltre il Colle, then the path steepens and gains the Bocchetta Camplano. From there we walk open ridgelines to Cima di Grem, where the view suddenly widens across the whole valley and the Bergamo Orobie. On the way back we pass the Baita alta di Grem, among meadows and old summer farms, and drop back to the cars. It is the contrast that makes the day: the soft start through pasture and the arrival on a clean summit, where the sense of space changes the rhythm of everything.

5 reasons to come - the wide view from Cima di Grem - an easy start from Zambla Alta - a path that keeps changing, from meadows to steep ground to ridges - the Baita alta di Grem on the way back - a signature summit of the Val Serina

Who it suits You need some fitness: a few stretches are steep and stony, and the ridge is open to sun and wind.

A real day out, full of walking and talking: join the Guidders.
