WHY THIS TREK

The Sennes traverse

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Francesco, a mid-mountain leader with my backpack always ready. I live in Bolzano and roam the whole Tyrol — from South Tyrol to Trentino and up into North Tyrol — looking for hidden trails, far from the crowded routes. It's a search that never ends: every valley has a few that don't make the guidebooks. I'm originally from Milan and I've been in love with these mountains forever; today I get to live them every day and to show them with fresh eyes to people arriving from elsewhere, the way someone like me once arrived here. If you love genuine views, off-track routes and the silence of nature, we understand each other. 🌲🥾 See you in the mountains, Guidders!

You need to be fit enough to walk a full day (7 h a day) and carry your backpack for 2 days. Flat or slightly inclined sections with short stretches on steep slopes and rocks, not tiring or demanding.
