Translagorai in 3 Days: A Wild Trek Through the Trentino Dolomites
Translagorai in three days
Three days along the wildest ridge in Trentino.
The experience
The Translagorai crosses the entire Lagorai chain, one of the most genuine and least walked areas of Trentino: quiet paths, bivouac huts and views that resemble nothing else.
Day 1. From the Panarotta to the Bivacco Mangheneto. Day 2. From the Mangheneto to the Bivacco Coldosé, along the eastern ridge. Day 3. From the Coldosé to the Passo Rolle, with the Pale di San Martino appearing on the horizon.
5 reasons to come - the traverse of the whole Lagorai chain - two nights in bivouac huts, far from everything - little-walked paths, with no crowds - the Pale di San Martino at the finish - the most genuine Trentino, off the circuits
Who it suits The height gains are demanding and the huts are spartan: good fitness, self-sufficiency and adaptability are needed.
A genuinely wild journey: set off with the Guidders.
