Toccare il cielo con un dito: trekking al Bivacco Pascal
Bivacco Pascal
A bivouac hut at nearly three thousand metres, facing the Aosta mountains.
The experience
The Bivacco Pascal was opened in 2006 and dedicated to Luigi Pascal, from Morgex, who lost his life on the Miage glacier. It stands at a little under three thousand metres and offers a spectacular view over the Aosta Valley peaks. With the Guidders we reach it on a route not to be underestimated, for its length and height gain, but one that gives postcard scenes among tarns, summits and the flora of these altitudes.
5 reasons to come - the Bivacco Pascal, at nearly three thousand metres - the view over the mountains of the Aosta Valley - the tarns met along the climb - high-altitude flora, spectacular in late spring - a long route, the kind that stays with you
