Orobie Crest Traverse: A Spectacular Trek to the Summit of Grem
The summit of Grem in the Orobie
Wide ridgelines and open views, along the crest of the Orobie.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from the Passo di Zambla, a favoured access point for many outings in the area, and climb towards Cima di Grem: not among the highest, but among the most significant summits of the group south of the Arera-Vaccaro chain. The country is genuine, made of wide ridgelines and open views, set between the upper Val Parina, the Val Dossana and the Valle del Riso. Along the way we pass the Bivacco Mistri.
5 reasons to come - Cima di Grem and its open ridgelines - the Bivacco Mistri along the route - the view across Val Parina, Val Dossana and Valle del Riso - a rarely visited mountain group - an easy start from the Passo di Zambla
