Sul Latemar: Rifugio Torre di Pisa
Rifugio Torre di Pisa on Latemar
The only hut in the Latemar group.
The experience
Rifugio Torre di Pisa stands on Cima Cavignon and is the only hut in the Latemar group, set in the frame of the Val di Fiemme. Its name comes from a leaning rock pinnacle that recalls the Tuscan tower, and the route to it is one of the great classics of the valley. We set off with the Guidders from Pampeago, climb to Rifugio Passo Feudo and carry on to the hut, between scree and spires.
