A white corridor at the foot of the Pale di San Martino.
The Val Venegia in winter looks like something out of a fairytale: we set off with the Guidders, snowshoes on, and step into a world of snow-laden firs, deep silence and majestic views. The route is simple and hugely panoramic: we climb towards Malga Juribello and the Baita Segantini, then drop to Malga Venegiota. As we gain height the landscape opens onto the Pale di San Martino, which at sunset turn gold and pink.
