WHY THIS CLIMB

Breithorn West, a 4000er in a day

The West Breithorn is considered the “easiest” 4000er in the Alps… but don't be fooled: it's a real, glacial, elegant mountain that takes you to a white world made of ridges, sharp light, and views that leave their mark.

Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

Thanks to the Cervinia lifts, we reach Plateau Rosà at an altitude of 3,480 m, in the heart of the Monte Rosa massif. From here, our adventure on the glacier begins: roped together, step by step, we ascend towards the great dome of the Breithorn.

The environment is that of a true 4000er: crevasses, seracs, gentle but constant slopes. The last section rises slightly and leads straight to the summit ridge, where the wind blows strongly and the gaze sweeps from the Matterhorn to the Lyskamm, up to the Rosa and the Weisshorn massif.

A perfect experience for Guidders who want to experience high altitude in safety, excitement, and sharing. A 4000er that stays in the heart.

Suitable for your first high-altitude experience to test the altitude.
