WHY THIS CLIMB

Conquer the Cevedale

Two days on the glacier, in the heart of the Stelvio.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from Rifugio Forni, at the foot of the snowbound giants of the Stelvio National Park, and climb to Rifugio Pizzini, a historic base among these mountains, where we spend the night.

Day 2. A start in the middle of the night, roped up on the glacier, to the summit of Monte Cevedale: airy crests, eternal silence and a view that repays every step. Then the descent to the valley.

5 reasons to come - the summit of the Cevedale, close to 3,800 metres - the night at Rifugio Pizzini - the glacier crossed roped up, at dawn - the snowbound giants of the Stelvio park - a step forward in the Road to 4000 project

Who it suits Glacier mountaineering: good fitness and the will to take on high altitude are needed.

Real mountains, made of breath and effort: set off with the Guidders.
