WHY THIS HIKE

Rifugio Olmo in the heart of the Presolana

Walking at the foot of an icon.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from the Passo della Presolana along one of the finest lines in the area, combining woods, panoramic traverses and wilder stretches between scree and rock walls. From the first steps you are in the heart of the mountain, with a progressive climb leading to the Baita Cassinelli and then to Rifugio Olmo. Above us, throughout, the Presolana: the queen of the Bergamo Orobie.

5 reasons to come - Rifugio Olmo, in the heart of the Presolana - the Baita Cassinelli along the route - panoramic traverses beneath the walls - the scree and wild country of the upper section - the queen of the Orobie overhead all day

Who it suits A progressive climb with scree sections: normal walking fitness and a sure step.

A powerful landscape, seen up close: come with the Guidders.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Beniamino, Ben to everyone, a mid-mountain leader and cycle touring guide. Becoming a guide was the finish line of a path that started over ten years ago in the outdoor world: a big passion that turned into my profession. Over the years I've built experience across specialist shops, events and collaborations with major brands in the sector, and I learned how much preparation, safety and attention to people matter. I love the mountains in every form, but it's among ridges, walls and big views that I really feel at home. Every outing is a chance to experience nature authentically, share emotions and build memories that last. If you fancy exploring new trails with the Guidders, we're off. 🥾🚵 See you in the mountains, Guidders!

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Roberta, coordinator. I've always loved geography and travel, so much that I built my studies around tourism. Over the years I got closer and closer to the mountains, in winter and summer alike, and I realized something simple: just one day, good company and no phone are enough to turn even the easiest hike into something magical. Every time I lace up my hiking boots, I feel like I can finally breathe. It's a sense of wellbeing that stays with me for days after coming back, and that's exactly what I want to share when I take people up the mountain: laughter, good company, and a hike that turns into a real memory. If you come with me, expect real company and nature at the center of it all, no rush, no screens. See you in the mountains, Guidders!

We'll email you when they have a new outing on the calendar.
