Larici Hut and Mount Mandriolo: A Panoramic Trek on the Asiago Plateau
Rifugio Larici and Mount Mandriolo on the Asiago plateau
Grassy ridges and a view from the Dolomites to the Lagorai.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Rifugio Larici, on the Asiago plateau, and follow a panoramic traverse across pasture, grassy ridges and stretches of military road, in one of the most open parts of the Seven Communities plateau. The objective is Cima Mandriolo, on the border between Veneto and Trentino: from up there the view runs from the Dolomites to the Lagorai and the Trentino peaks. The return closes the loop back at the hut.
5 reasons to come - the view from the Dolomites to the Lagorai - Cima Mandriolo, on the border between two regions - the grassy ridges of the Seven Communities plateau - stretches of old military road along the way - Rifugio Larici, a convenient base
