The experience

A simple, panoramic loop hike perfect for discovering one of the most evocative sides of Lake Iseo. Starting from the lakeside village of Predore, on the Bergamo shore, we'll venture along paths that gently climb to the foot of Mount Bronzone, through olive groves, woods, and glimpses that suddenly open onto the blue of the lake.

The route alternates easy sections in the woods with more open points where the gaze freely wanders over the Island of San Paolo, Montisola, and the Brescia coast. After a steady and never too challenging climb, we reach Punta Alta, one of the most beautiful panoramic points of the entire Bergamo shore: a natural balcony from which to admire all of Lake Iseo from above, with a breathtaking view that truly leaves you speechless.

From here, the itinerary continues downhill, closing the loop and bringing us back towards Predore through quiet paths and more rural areas, where silence reigns and the scent of nature fills the air. A perfect tour for those who love varied routes, spectacular views, and days spent outdoors with the Guidders 🧡.

We'll meet in the village of Predore, and from there we'll follow the local streets to reach the hiking trails.

At the Foot of Monte Cornaccio
"From here, we leave the village of Predore behind and enter the natural heart of the area, following trails that will lead us to the foot of Corno Buco peak."
11:00SUMMIT
Beneath Corno Buco Peak or Under the Shadow of Corno Buco
A long, mostly flat stretch of trail walking along the coast, overlooking the great cross of Corno Buco.
12:30VILLAGE
La Rolla Area
After passing the large white cross of Corno Buco, we'll hike onward to Rolla, where we'll stop for a packed lunch break.
14:30SUMMIT
Punta Alta Peak
The most scenic spot of the day, with a magical view overlooking the entire Lake Iseo.
15:30RETURN
Predore
From Punta Alta, we'll descend towards the village of Predore, passing by the Sanctuary and its long staircase. This vantage point offers breathtaking views of the sunset and the ever-changing colors of the sky.
