A rocky sentinel above the upper Val Brembana.
The experience
Pizzo Poris is one of the most imposing and wildest summits in the Bergamo Orobie: it commands the upper Val Brembana with a majestic presence and a climb reserved for the fit. We set off with the Guidders from Carona and climb through alpine pastures and high country to the panoramic Rifugio Calvi, a historic landmark. From there the ground changes and the climb turns serious, all the way to the top.
