Mount Ramaceto from Ventarola – A Loop Hike Through Forests, Ridges, and Endless Views
The Monte Ramaceto loop from Ventarola
Old mule tracks, and a crest with the sea on the horizon.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from the stone village of Ventarola, a small gem of the Ligurian hinterland, along old mule tracks crossing clear streams and quiet clearings. The path climbs gently to the Bocca di Feia, the gateway to the spectacular crest of Monte Ramaceto. Walking up there means breathing freedom: the eye runs from the Ligurian Apennines to the Ligurian Sea, with views that on clear days seem endless.
5 reasons to come - the crest of Monte Ramaceto, open on both sides - the stone village of Ventarola - old mule tracks and clear streams - the Bocca di Feia, where everything opens up - the sea on the horizon, beyond the crests
Who it suits A gentle climb with a crest finish: normal walking fitness and a sure step on the ridge.
Genuine Liguria, from woodland to sea: come with the Guidders.
