The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Prati Magri, above Bovegno, and climb a mountain path through woods, pastures and open ridgelines towards the crest of Monte Muffetto. At the top the view widens across every Brescia mountain, and the return drops along the ridge to close the circuit. It is a long route, with steep sections and uneven ground, the kind where you feel every metre: nobody hands you this summit.
