WHY THIS HIKE

Dawn on Mount Linzone

An open meadow where you watch the sky change.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Roncola in the silence of night fading into morning, following a path through beech and birch woods until it emerges onto the high meadows of Monte Linzone. The summit is a natural balcony: a wide open meadow where in spring the narcissi paint everything white and scented. Arriving at first light means watching the Po plain light up below and the Orobie catch the sun one after another.

5 reasons to come - sunrise from the high meadows of Monte Linzone - the Po plain lighting up below you - narcissi in spring, as far as you can see - the beech and birch woods on the way up - an easy summit, for a simple kind of magic

Who it suits An easy, panoramic summit: all you need is the will to get up early and normal walking fitness.

A sunrise that stays inside you: come and take it with the Guidders.
