Monte Guslon: trekking in the Alpago ridges and views
Guslon: Alpago's hidden peak
A real summit, a 360° view and no crowds. Welcome to the Guslon.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Tambre, along the Via degli Alpini: first through the woods, then across the open pastures of Malga Pian delle Lastre. From there the trail gets steeper and we climb steadily, step after step, until we pop out onto the summit ridge of Monte Guslon. It's an out-and-back route: same path up and down, so we get to enjoy the views twice. At the top, the panorama stretches toward Cornor and Castelat, with the Alpago valley spread out below.
From up here the ridge would carry on toward wilder, more technical terrain: we're happy to make the Guslon our destination, a generous summit earned with our own legs.
5 reasons to join - a panoramic summit with 360° views over Alpago - the woods and pastures of Pian delle Lastre to cross together - a genuine mountain atmosphere, away from the crowds - the satisfaction of a tough climb that's still accessible - the Guiddy community sharing every step with you
Who it's for You'll need solid legs and the drive to climb steadily: it's demanding but with no technical passages. Perfect if you already have some serious hikes under your belt.
The Guslon is waiting just for us: book with the Guidders and come discover it.
