The experience

We start in the centre of Civate, among narrow lanes and old houses, and soon slip into the woods. The climb gives you silence, the scent of resin and sudden openings onto Lake Annone and the Resegone. At the summit of Monte Cornizzolo the view opens all around: from Monte Rosa to the Grigne, down to Lake Como glinting below. It is a summit that feels like home, and that is exactly why it satisfies at every step.
