Mount Altissimo and Mount Naga: Discovering the Peaks of Monte Baldo
Mount Altissimo and Mount Naga on Monte Baldo
Wind on the ridge, with Lake Garda below.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders towards Monte Altissimo di Nago, the summit that commands Lake Garda from the great heights of Monte Baldo. We walk along the ridge, between alpine paths and high-altitude silence, with views opening like windows onto infinity: the glittering lake on one side, the Trentino mountains on the other. Along the way we stop at Rifugio Graziani, as welcoming as a hut should be.
5 reasons to come - the summit of Monte Altissimo, a balcony over the Garda - Rifugio Graziani along the route - the windy, open crests of Monte Baldo - the glittering lake alongside you all day - high-altitude silence, a few kilometres from the water
Who it suits A climb on alpine paths with crest sections: normal walking fitness and a sure step.
Windows onto infinity: come and look through them with the Guidders.
