Winter Wonderland in Alpe Devero with Lunch in Crampiolo!
Winter in Alpe Devero
A wooden hamlet, a frozen lake and lunch at an inn.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from the Alpe Devero and climb the packed winter trail to the enchanting hamlet of Crampiolo, among wooden houses and silence. From there we carry on to the Lago delle Streghe, one of the most striking spots in the valley, and then to the Codelago dam, where — conditions permitting — we walk on the frozen lake. On the way back we stop for lunch at an inn in the hamlet.
