WHY THIS HIKE

Antrona: family trekking

An emerald-colored lake, walking behind a waterfall.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Lake Antrona and immediately let ourselves be enveloped by the larch forest. The route is a simple, no-surprises loop, perfect for a relaxed family walk. We climb gently among the trees until we reach one of the most beautiful moments of the day: the Sajont Waterfall, where metal walkways and stairs take us right behind the water jet. We then descend through pastures and clearings, with the lake accompanying us all the way back.

Along the loop, a detour takes us to Lake Campliccioli, with its dam at 1352 m: we stop to take a closer look. We'll walk the entire length of the lake and return along the miners' road.

5 reasons to come - you literally walk behind a waterfall - the lake loop, scenic and never boring - suitable for everyone, between woods and water - Packed lunch stop with a view over Lake Campliccioli

Who it's suitable for Perfect for families and for anyone wanting a relaxing day surrounded by nature, with no technical difficulties.

Come discover it with the Guidders: book your spot and bring the little ones too, everyone has fun here.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Gilberto, an environmental hiking guide. They say happiness is only real when shared, and for me there's no greater joy than a view earned together. I take people to find the most genuine side of our trails, away from the rush and at footprint pace. I can't wait to share with you not only the walking, but the stories, the silences and — why not — a good piece of cheese at the top. Backpack on, we'll work out the rest as we go. Experience, care for safety and that pinch of adventure it takes to make an outing unforgettable: joining the next walk? 🧀 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
