Gaver Plain: Bruffione Bivouac and its Sparkling Lakes
Gaver plain and the Bruffione bivouac
Alpine tarns a step away from Trentino.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders into the Gaver plain and climb to the Bivacco Bruffione, on the pass of the same name, a few kilometres from the Trentino border: from up there you look at the Brenta Dolomites on one side and the whole Gaver basin on the other. After exploring the surroundings we drop to the Bruffione tarns, a small gem and a paradise for anyone who loves wild country. The circuit closes as a loop.
5 reasons to come - the Bruffione tarns, a small gem of the Gaver - the Bivacco Bruffione on the border pass - the Brenta Dolomites on one side, the Gaver on the other - a loop that climbs and descends by different lines - genuine, silent alpine country
