WHY THIS TREK

Night under canvas in Val Soana

HOW TO GET THERE
14:00PARKING
Ronco Canavese towards Alpe Ciavanis
In the mid-afternoon we will set off towards Alpe Ciavanis. The woods and the stream will carry us into their silence. The sound of the accordion and guitar up in the mountains will welcome us, together with Valentina, Luca and little Alberto. We will watch the milking and, ready for dinner, we will be treated to polenta and stew and tome cheese, truly produced at zero food miles. Before sunset we will move to Pian delle Masche, pitch our tents and listen together to the legends of the valley, dancing around the bonfire until night falls.

How do you get to Ronco Canavese? By carpooling.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Massimiliano, an environmental hiking guide — and I'm not alone: with me there's Stefania, a guide too, and together we're a couple in love with mountains, nature and tradition. We walk looking for new trails and summits, but above all for experiences. We became guides for a simple reason: we like our passion being shared with other people, and on your own you share nothing. We're mostly out in Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, but our bags also hold Sardinia, Liguria, Trentino and Lombardy. The name of our social profiles says who we are: SECONDA VITA 51.20. Follow us if you like. 🥾 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
