The Resegone via Canale Valnegra

Il Resegone è la montagna simbolo di Lecco. Dal dialetto lombardo, il nome di questa cima significa grande sega, dovuto all’inconfondibile profilo formato da ben 14 cime, che ricordano i denti di una sega. La più alta di queste è Punta Cermenati, alle cui pendici sorge il famoso Rifugio Azzoni. Questo itinerario di salita, tra i vari, risulta molto interessante: partendo da Lecco in località Versasio, passeremo per la capanna Ghislandi, si risale il Canalone della Valnegra. Questo sentiero, dalle forti pendenze, richiede impegno e resistenza: anche quando il Rifugio Azzoni è in vista, è richiesto un grande sforzo per raggiungero, dato che il terreno è principalmente roccia e ghiaione. Nell'ultima parte si trova un passaggio di roccia piuttosto impegnativo. Un percorso di grande soddisfazione per una cima significativa come il Resegone.
