Pizzo dei Tre Signori from Ornica: Breathtaking Views of the Orobie Alps
Pizzo dei Tre Signori from Ornica
Three valleys meeting on a single summit.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Ornica, by way of the Ferdy farm, and climb Pizzo dei Tre Signori, the highest summit in the Val Gerola: a rocky massif rising exactly where the Valtellina, the Valsassina and the Val Brembana converge. Along the route we cross alpine pastures and panoramic crests, with views opening across the whole pre-alpine arc.
5 reasons to come - the summit where three valleys meet - the view across the entire pre-alpine arc - the Ferdy farm along the climb - alpine pastures and panoramic crests - one of the most significant summits in the Orobie
