The Majestic Piz Boè
The majestic Piz Boè
An accessible three-thousander, with the terrace of the Dolomites on top.
The experience
Piz Boè, prince of the Sella group, is one of the most accessible summits above 3,000 metres in the area for walkers. Once the first steep climb to Forcella Pordoi is behind you the landscape changes abruptly: it feels like walking on the Moon. The goal of the day is Capanna Piz Fassa, at 3,152 metres, on what everyone calls the terrace of the Dolomites.
5 reasons to come - Piz Boè, a three-thousander within a walker's reach - the terrace of the Dolomites at 3,152 metres - the lunar landscape beyond Forcella Pordoi - Capanna Piz Fassa at the summit - an easy start from the Passo Pordoi
