The Guardian of the Snow Plain: The Czech Baroni Bivouac
The Ceco Baroni bivouac
The guardian of the Pian di Neve.
The experience
The Bivacco Ceco Baroni stands at the head of the Valle Adamè, with a sweeping view over the valley and the peaks around it. We set off with the Guidders and pass Rifugio Città di Lissone and the Baita Rifugio Adamè, following the Poia stream. We begin on a path eased by worked rock steps, then it becomes an easy trail running the length of the valley; the final climb is pure granite.
5 reasons to come - the Bivacco Ceco Baroni, facing the head of the valley - the worked rock steps of the first section - Rifugio Città di Lissone and the Baita Adamè - the Poia stream keeping you company - the final granite section, which makes the day
