Colors of Lake Pisgana

Il lago del Pisgana è uno specchio d'acqua di recentissima formazione, nasce infatti dallo scioglimento dell'omonimo ghiacciaio e cresce di anno in anno con il ritiro della calotta. Si trova in cima alla Val Sozzine, laterale a Ponte di Legno. Proprio dal parco della Val Sozzine inizia il sentiero, in una zona non troppo conosciuta e di grandissimo fascino. A circondarla numerose cime oltre i 3000 metri, e impreziosita dai salti delle cascate del Narcanello (torrente che, unendosi al Frigidolfo, dà vita al fiume Oglio). Costeggeremo le due cascate per raggiungere la morena glaciale. Dopo questo tratto di pietraia, ecco davanti a noi il lago e il ghiacciaio che lo sovrasta, un vero spettacolo della natura. Si può salire un poco a fianco del lago per osservare più da vicino la vedretta, con i suoi crepacci e scivoli verticali di ghiaccio. Pranzeremo al sacco, e riscenderemo a valle dal percorso di andata.

A circondarla numerose cime oltre i 3000 metri, e impreziosita dai salti delle cascate del Narcanello (torrente che, unendosi al Frigidolfo, dà vita al fiume Oglio).
