WHY THIS HIKE

Forest Bathing Etna

Autumn woods, real silence, and a giant that's been waiting for centuries. We set off in the morning, ready to leave the noise behind and find ourselves again, one step at a time.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

The trail winds through woods painted with autumn colors, golden foliage and warm afternoon light, leading to the Ilice di Carrinu, one of the largest trees on Mount Etna. Along the way we stop at scenic viewpoints for forest bathing sessions: mindfulness, meditation, sensory awareness. Time slows down here, and that's exactly the point.

Why join us - Experience Etna in autumn, with unique colors and atmosphere - Discover forest bathing and reconnect with nature - A slow pace, designed for your wellbeing - Live an experience measured in feelings, not kilometers

Join the Guidders: here, hiking becomes community, and every step counts twice.

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOU GO
✓
BEFORE YOU GO
Go to bed early, have a good breakfast and drink water before setting off: 4 h and 256 m of ascent await you through the woods of Etna, with stops for forest bathing. If you go hiking a couple of times a month, you're fit enough. This isn't a walk to measure in kilometers: arrive ready to slow down and listen. Let your guide know if you have any special needs or little familiarity with mindfulness and meditation practices, so they can better support you during the session.
✓
IN YOUR BACKPACK
Warm layers, a windproof jacket, 1.5 litres of water and a headlamp: the days are getting shorter, plus poles. Always with you: a plaster, an antiseptic wipe and a small bag for rubbish

What's included in the price

✓Guiddy accident insurance

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Orazio, an environmental hiking guide and a Forest Bathing instructor. I love my own land, Sicily, and I love passing that passion on: it's the reason I chose to guide people rather than walk alone. My hikes are made of a few simple ingredients: discovery, respect and professionalism. Nothing else is needed — and taking away the surplus leaves more room for what you actually see. In one phrase, I consider myself a builder of memories. 🥾 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
