Description
Four days along the spine of Elba.
The Grande Traversata Elbana is the island's most iconic walk: it crosses the whole ridge, joining wild country, panoramic crests and a variety of landscapes that tells the island's story in just a few days. It was devised in the 1980s by Renato Giombini and Mario Ferrari, and today it is a classic of Italian hiking.
Day 1. From Cavo to Porto Azzurro, along the eastern coast.
Day 2. From Porto Azzurro to Marina di Campo.
Day 3. From Marina di Campo to Marciana Marina.
Day 4. From Marciana Marina to Pomonte, with the sea never far.
